Welcome to the All Hallowes Country Club
The All Hallowes Recreation and Country Club is situated in the beautiful Fraser Canyon, 120 miles east of Vancouver, British Columbia just outside the town of Yale. It consists of 50 memberships only, a co-op RV park which is pet-friendly and open all year. The approximate 5 acres are surrounded by majestic mountains and on one side by the mighty Fraser river, the best Salmon and Sturgeon fishing river in the country. A very ideal setting for a summer vacation or snowbirds or just a weekend away from the big city.
All Hallowes is a heritage site of an all girls finishing school built in the 1860’s. Anglican Sisters from England set up the first private school for girls called “All Hallowes in the house that had been erected for railroad supervisor Andrew Onderdonk. This school housed girls who had been sent there to be “finished”.
In 1982, the founders of the country club took out the original old buildings and put up a caretakers cottage/gate house. A beautiful heated swimming pool and sun deck was added at a later date. The streets are paved and every lot has its own water, sewer and electric meter. There is a club house for get-togethers in the spring and fall. The large grassy playing field is called the common area. It has several fruit trees and a BBQ pit for club or just family get togethers.
Because each member is responsible for only one 50th part of the common expense the annual dues amount is quite low. The 45 by 65 ft. lots gives each member the opportunity to put their own RV and a shed on it. This park gives the city dwellers the opportunity to get out and play, do a little gardening, lounge by the pool, do some fishing or hiking. The hiking trails all have fantastic views. Whether it is along side the mighty Fraser river, or up the side of the many mountains. Gold panning on the banks of the Fraser is also a favorite weekend activity.
For the history buff there is Historic Yale which was once a bustling city in the gold rush days. The river boats would go from the coast to Yale. From Yale on the Fraser was too wild for boats to navigate. So Yale became the starting point for the gold rush in the Yukon. The historic church, the museum, and a historic cemetery gives lots of opportunity to travel back in time. The park is enjoyed by young families with children and older people that just enjoy the peace and quiet of the country side.
If it sounds interesting, give us a call and come and visit us. We have several memberships available! The Executives of All Hallowes
